==Recognition== In recognition of Sikdar's mathematical genius, German Philosophical Society's Bavaria branch of Natural Science made Radhanath Sikdar a Corresponding Member in 1864, two years after his retirement.<ref>{{cite news|url=https://www.telegraphindia.com/my-kolkata/people/radhanath-sikdar-a-past-we-must-preserve/cid/1810215|title=Radhanath Sikdar: A past we must preserve|publisher=[[The Telegraph (India)]]}}</ref> The [[Indian Postal Service|Department of Posts, Government of India]], launched a postal stamp on 27 June 2004, commemorating the establishment of the [[Great Trigonometric Survey]] in [[Chennai]], India on 10 April 1802.
