== Geographic range == Roadrunners inhabit the [[Southwestern United States]], to parts of Missouri, Arkansas, and Louisiana, as well as [[Mexico]] and [[Central America]]. They live in [[arid]] lowland or mountainous [[shrubland]] or [[woodland]].
