==Suspension of the Agreement == {{Main|2025 Pahalgam attack|2025 India-Pakistan standoff}} Following the rising tensions between [[India]] and [[Pakistan]] after the [[2025 Pahalgam attack]], India suspended the decades-old [[Indus Waters Treaty|Indus Water treaty]].
