====English-language adaptation==== The English-language rights to ''Mach GoGoGo'' were acquired by syndicator [[Trans-Lux]] and ''Speed Racer'' premiered on American television in the summer of 1967.<ref>"Television," ''New York Times''. (Sep 22, 1967) Page 95.</ref> In the series, Speed's full name was Go Mifune, in homage to Japanese film star [[Toshiro Mifune]].
