Sometime later, Toad began to study the Stranger's technology, becoming familiar with it. Marvel Comics.</ref> He even attempted to kill the [[Warren Worthington III|Angel]] in a castle outfitted with traps by [[Arcade (Marvel Comics)|Arcade]]. Marvel Comics.</ref> Toad was eventually ejected from the castle by [[Doctor Doom]], and he became suicidal, realizing that he was too dependent on others to work alone. Eventually, Toad left the Misfits and returned to villainy.
