==Climate == Trier has an oceanic climate ([[Köppen climate classification|Köppen]]: ''Cfb''), but with greater extremes than the marine versions of [[northern Germany]]. Summers are warm except in unusual heat waves and winters are recurrently cold, but not harsh.
