===Affiliation switch to Fox=== {{Further|1994β1996 United States broadcast television realignment}} In December 1993, Fox gained the [[Fox NFL|broadcast rights]] to televise games from the [[NFL]]'s [[National Football Conference]],<ref>{{cite news|title=NBC Gets Final N.F.L. It moved its late news into prime time and saw growing ratings.
