I noticed that the [[Netfilter]] article had been on the copyvio list for quite a while and decided to write a new replacement article [[Netfilter/Temp]] from scratch.  After I saved it I then noticed that the original Netfilter page is now completely gone and there is no reference to the copyvio problem, it's history, or any link to my replacement Temp article.  In addition the original Netfilter article is no longer listed on the [[Wikipedia:Copyright problems]] page.  Is this the way things normally work here, or did I happen to write the new article at the same time that the old one was finally deleted? :Yes, this was deleted while I was writing the replacement page. Found the entry in the deletion log, "03:39, 21 Sep 2004 Delirium deleted "Netfilter" (copyright violation, reported Sept. 10)".<br/>  What's the correct way to move the Temp page to be the main page now? -- [[User:Dmeranda|Dmeranda]] 06:05, 21 Sep 2004 (UTC)

::Okay, I moved the temp article to the main article myself.  It is clear that this has escaped the administrators attention because they were deleting the article at the same time I was writing the replacement.
