====Tonga==== [[File:Saione.jpg|thumb|Saione, the church of the king – the main Free Wesleyan Church of [[Kolomotuʻa]], Tonga]] Methodism had a particular resonance with the inhabitants of Tonga. In the 1830s Wesleyan missionaries converted paramount chief [[George Tupou I|Taufa'ahau Tupou]] who in turn converted fellow islanders.
