Under the terms of the lease, the UDR Memorial Trust are permitted to use this for the erection of a memorial. The memorial group of statues was unveiled on 12 June 2011 by [[Alan Brooke, 3rd Viscount Brookeborough|Viscount Brookeborough]], one of the trustees of the UDR Memorial Trust. At the ceremony, Trust chairman Wesley Duncan said, "It was unfortunate that there were members who did bad things and we're not trying to hide that.
