On July 15, 2013, Against Me! released the "[[True Trans]]" single for free, featuring the new acoustic song "FUCKMYLIFE666" and the namesake "True Trans Soul Rebel". In October 2017, Against Me! played a special show with former bassist Dustin Fridkin for the first time since his departure from the band in 2002.
