On November 15, 2011, [[Apple Inc.]], led by CEO [[Tim Cook]], named Iger to its board of directors. In July 2024, Iger and his wife, [[Willow Bay]], agreed to take a majority stake in [[Angel City FC]], a Los Angeles-based [[National Women's Soccer League]] team, with a $100&nbsp;million investment.
