Bunyaviruses infect [[arthropod]]s, [[plant]]s, [[protozoa]]ns, and [[vertebrate]]s.<ref name=":0" /> Plants can host bunyaviruses from the families ''Tospoviridae'' and ''Fimoviridae'' (e.g. tomato, pigeonpea, melon, wheat, raspberry, redbud, and rose).
