[[Crewkerne railway station]], in nearby [[Misterton, Somerset|Misterton]], is served by [[South Western Railway (train operating company)|South Western Railway]] on what was the [[West of England Main Line|main south western railway line]] before it was outranked by the [[Reading to Taunton line|Taunton line]]. Trains operate to [[London Waterloo railway station|London Waterloo]] (two and a half hours away) via {{Stnlnk|Salisbury}} (70 minutes), and in the opposite direction to {{Stnlnk|Exeter St Davids}} (under an hour).
