===2000 census===
As of the [[2000 United States census|2000 census]], there were 212 people, 87 households, and 60 families residing in the town. The [[population density]] was 624.9 people per square mile (240.7/km<sup>2</sup>). There were 106 housing units at an average density of 312.4 per square mile (120.4/km<sup>2</sup>). The racial makeup of the town was 95.28% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 3.77% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], and 0.94% from two or more races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 0.47% of the population.

There were 87 households, out of which 36.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 42.5% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 21.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 29.9% were non-families. 27.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 12.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.44 and the average family size was 2.90.

In the town, the population was spread out, with 29.7% under the age of 18, 5.7% from 18 to 24, 26.4% from 25 to 44, 25.9% from 45 to 64, and 12.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 37 years. For every 100 females, there were 92.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 86.3 males.

The median income for a household in the town was $14,583, and the median income for a family was $14,000. Males had a median income of $30,625 versus $21,250 for females.
