DragonForce released their fifth studio album, ''[[The Power Within (album)|The Power Within]]'', on 15 April 2012. DragonForce also played at [[Soundwave (Australian music festival)|Soundwave Festival]] in Australia in February 2013.

To promote the album, the band embarked on their second world tour, beginning in [[Edinburgh]] on 17 September and ending in [[Brussels]], Belgium, on 1 February 2015.

On 12 February, DragonForce announced that they would release their first live DVD, a recording of their performance at Loud Park Festival 2014 titled ''[[In the Line of Fire...
