Rahmon had a sister, who reportedly died in a hospital of [[COVID-19]] on 20 July 2021. One of his grandchildren reportedly purchased a luxury three-bedroom beachfront apartment on [[Dubai]]'s [[Palm Jumeirah]] when he was just nine years old.
