===NORAD=== [[File:1958 Ent AFB - NORAD HQ.png|thumb|Ent Air Force Base, 1958]] {{Main|North American Aerospace Defense Command}} The North American Air Defense Command (NORAD) was established and activated at the base on 12 September 1957. This command is an international organization, taking operational control of [[1 Canadian Air Division|Canadian Air Defense Command]] air defense units and United States Air Defense Command air defense units. The first NORAD Agreement was drafted.
