Tuttle died in [[Burlington, Vermont]], after being hospitalized with a [[myocardial infarction|heart attack]] following a day spent digging [[potato]]es at his home in Tunbridge.{{sfn|"Vermont Death Records, 1909-2008 Entry for Fred H.
