==Politics==
On a national level, Inishowen forms part of the [[Donegal (Dáil constituency)|Donegal constituency]], which elects five TDs to [[Dáil Éireann]], the [[lower house]] of the [[Oireachtas]] (the Irish [[Parliament]]). At the county level, Inishowen is an electoral area, a [[Municipal district (Ireland)|Municipal District]], electing nine councillors to [[Donegal County Council]].
