== Transport == Although Jedburgh no longer has any rail access, it is well located on the road network. The [[A68 road|A68]] provides direct access to [[Edinburgh]] ({{convert|48|mi}}) and [[Newcastle-upon-Tyne]] ({{convert|58|mi}}). [[Carlisle, Cumbria|Carlisle]] is {{convert|57|mi}} away and [[Hawick]], [[Kelso, Scottish Borders|Kelso]], [[Selkirk, Scottish Borders|Selkirk]] and [[Galashiels]] are all within {{convert|20|mi|sigfig=1}}. Jedburgh is known to motorists from the [[Edinburgh]] and [[Newcastle-upon-Tyne]] areas as Jedburgh is signposted as a [[primary destination]] on the [[A68 road|A68]].
