===Fulham=== After two and a half seasons with the Colorado Rapids, he signed with [[Football League First Division|English First Division]] club [[Fulham F.C.|Fulham]], for Β£80,000 in June 1999. He failed to displace [[Maik Taylor]] in goal though, and only made four appearances (two in the league) in total for the London club (all during their promotion season of [[2000β01 in English football#Football League First Division|2000β01]]). With [[Edwin van der Sar]] signed upon promotion by Fulham, Hahnemann slipped further down the pecking order and to gain playing time, he was loaned out to lower league sides [[Rochdale A.F.C.|Rochdale]],<ref>{{cite news|title=Marcus Hahnemann|url=http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2001/november/08/marcus-hahnemann|publisher=Fulham Official Website|date=November 8, 2001|access-date=April 10, 2014}}</ref> and then, [[Reading F.C.|Reading]] during the 2001β02 campaign.<ref>{{cite news|title=Peyton Welcomes Move|url=http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2001/december/16/peyton-welcomes-move|publisher=Fulham Official Website|date=December 16, 2001|access-date=April 10, 2014}}</ref> He made six appearances for the latter as part of [[2001β02 in English football#Nationwide League Division Two|their promotion]] from the third tier.
