Various [[graphical user interface]]s (GUIs) are available for Maxima:
* [https://wxmaxima-developers.github.io/wxmaxima/ wxMaxima]<ref>{{Cite web|url=https://wxmaxima-developers.github.io/wxmaxima/|title=wxMaxima, a document based interface for the computer algebra system Maxima|access-date=2021-11-29}}</ref> is high-quality graphical front-end using the [[wxWidgets]] framework. wxMaxima provides a cell structure similar to the Mathematica notebook as shown in the figure to the right. Sessions in wxMaxima can be saved in a variety of file formats for later use.
