===Emmy win=== In August 2023, Carter offered his vocal talents for the rendition of "Happy Xmas," a song featuring patients from the Cure 4 The Kids Foundation, celebrities, and well-known recording artists such as Kyle Khou for the Christmas 4 The Kids digital album, released in 2023 for the holiday season. All proceeds from sales and streaming of the 22 songs continue to benefit the foundation. As a result, the song "''Happy Xmas (Cancer's Over)''" earned Carter and Mitch Koulouris their first-ever Pacific Southwest Emmy Award win in June 2024.<ref>{{cite web |title=Instagram |url=https://www.instagram.com/cure4thekids/p/C8fD_aIKQz7/?img_index=1 |website=www.instagram.com |access-date=5 May 2025}}</ref> The song was recognized with the 2024 Emmy Award for "Outstanding Musical Composition & Arrangement" by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Pacific Southwest Chapter, a moment of immense pride and excitement for both artists and their supporters.<ref>{{cite web |last1=Shannon |first1=Todd |title="Happy Xmas (Cancer's Over)" Earns EMMY® Nomination Featuring Cure 4 The Kids Foundation |url=https://www.citynewsvegas.com/news/happy-xmas-cancer-s-over-earns-emmy-nomination-featuring-cure-4-the-kids-foundation/article_ccb660ea-29e4-11ef-ba45-0f77241cb915.html |website=CityNewsAmerica |access-date=5 May 2025 |language=en |date=14 June 2024}}</ref>
