===Manufacture elsewhere=== It was the Opel Commodore and Vauxhall Viceroy that formed the basis for the first '''[[Holden Commodore]]''' in Australia, and was sold in [[South Africa]] as the '''Chevrolet Commodore''' until 1982, when it was rebadged as an Opel.
