==Bio-pacemakers==
Bio-pacemakers are the outcome of a rapidly emerging field of research into a replacement for the [[electronic pacemaker]]. The bio-pacemaker turns quiescent myocardial cells (e.g. atrial cells) into pacemaker cells.
