Latvia applied to Australia to extradite [[Konrāds Kalējs]], allegedly a senior officer in the pro-Nazi [[Arajs Commando]], but he died on 8 November 2001 before he could be extradited. Kalējs migrated to Australia in 1950 and took citizenship. [[Hungary]] applied for the extradition of [[Charles Zentai]] from Australia.
