On the [[BBC Radio 2]] show ''Talking Comedy'', he listed [[Paul Merton]], [[Steven Wright]], [[Jasper Carrott]], [[Les Dawson]], [[Jerry Sadowitz]], [[Kenneth Williams]] and [[Hylda Baker]] as his favourite comedians.
