===Variations=== "Loop Trax" is a variant where the winning criterion is limited to closed loops only. Other variations include limiting playing board size (to 8Γ8, as "Limited Tiles" or 3Γ3, as "Mini Trax").<ref name=TRAX-FAQ/> Originally, the game was limited to an 8Γ8 board because each set was supplied with 64 tiles; the variant "SuperTrax", which removed the size limits, required the purchase of at least one additional set.<ref>{{cite magazine |url=http://www.abstractgames.org/uploads/1/1/6/4/116462923/abstract_games_issue_10.pdf#page=23 |title=Trax Strategy (Part 1) |author=Smith, David |date=Summer 2002 |magazine=Abstract Games |issn=1492-0492 |pages=21β24}}</ref>{{rp|24}} With the advent of virtual play, "SuperTrax" has become the dominant variant. {{clear}}
