A British version, called "''Would I Lie to You?''", not to be confused with the [[BBC]] [[panel show]] also called ''[[Would I Lie to You? (British game show)|Would I Lie to You?]]'', was broadcast on [[ITV (TV channel)|ITV]] from August 1998 until 1999. Hosted by [[Steve Penk]], the show was originally piloted under the ''Truth or Consequences'' name in 1998.
