UTA has 17 bus routes that are allowed to deviate up to {{convert|3/4|mi|km}} from their set route to pick up or drop off passengers.<ref name="2016 Fast Facts" group="U" /> These "flexible" routes are called '''Flex''' routes and are indicated by the letter "F" at the beginning of the route number (e.g. F618). Flex routes combine the convenience of curb-to-curb service with regular fixed routes making them a viable option for many [[paratransit]] riders.
