Some sources describe other AMXs as having been painted Playmate Pink at the factory. In late 1968, a Playmate Pink AMX was special-ordered by a dealership in rural [[Potosi, Missouri]]. This 1969 model year car's door tag indicates a "00" paint code (meaning a special-order color).
