There were 9,965 housing units. The racial makeup of the city was 64.6% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 6.1% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 1.2% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 1.3% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 0.1% [[Race (U.S. Census)|Pacific Islander]], 11.9% from some other races and 14.9% from two or more races.
