The ceremony of the changing of the [[guard of honour]] in front of the presidency has taken place at 12:00 noon every day since November 5, 2003.<ref>{{cite web|url=https://www.guards-bg.com/index.php/ceremonial-changing-of-the-guard|title=Тържествена смяна на караула|website=Национална гвардейска част}}</ref> It also takes place at the [[Monument to the Unknown Soldier, Sofia|Monument to the Unknown Soldier]] in [[Sofia]]. The [[National Guards Unit of Bulgaria]] is the sole participant in this ceremony.
