Shadows Fall signed a deal with [[Atlantic Records]] to distribute the band's albums in the United States, and a deal with [[Roadrunner Records]] for international distribution.<ref name="Name interview" /> The band released its fifth studio album ''[[Threads of Life]]'' on April 3, 2007.
