A turtle ship has been reconstructed by Geobukseon Research Center ({{Korean|hangul=거북선연구원|labels=no}}),<ref>거북선연구원: [http://www.keobukseon.co.kr/ Keobukseon Research Center]</ref> a private commercial company. They have done extensive research on the original design of the turtle ship, and made several real-size reconstructions of them for commercial use.
