For some reason, I can't get this url to display properly:
<nowiki>http://www.apple.com/hardware/ads/1984</nowiki>/
It appears that the number at the end is incorrectly handled. This is from [[1984 (television commercial)]] [[User:Pstudier|pstudier]] 02:52, 24 Sep 2004 (UTC)
:When I look at [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/wiki.phtml?title=1984_%28television_commercial%29&oldid=6112091], that link looks and works fine for me, and the page that it points to seems to work fine as well. :::I think you just changed it back to the format that wasn't working for him, Phil.  Unfortunately, I don't have any more bright ideas.  I've looked at it with IE6 on Win98SE, and with IE6, Opera 7, Mozilla 1.2.1, and Netscapes 4.7 and 7 on Win2k, and in all of them that link and its target display perfectly normally for me. My point was just that if you look at the [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/wiki.phtml?title=1984_%28television_commercial%29&action=history history] and the diffs ([http://en.wikipedia.org/w/wiki.phtml?title=1984_%28television_commercial%29&diff=6118602&oldid=6112091], [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/wiki.phtml?title=1984_%28television_commercial%29&diff=0&oldid=6118602]), you'll see that pstudier "fixed" a link that wasn't working for him by putting in the <code><nowiki><nowiki></nowiki></code>, and you "fixed" it by taking it back out, so it's back to how it was ([http://en.wikipedia.org/w/wiki.phtml?title=1984_%28television_commercial%29&diff=0&oldid=6112091]).  :)  [[User:Triskaideka|<nowiki></nowiki>]]&mdash;[[User:Triskaideka|Triskaideka]] 17:20, 24 Sep 2004 (UTC)

::: I am really perplexed.  It is broken for me in both Explorer 6.0, SP2 and Netscape 7.1.  It works with Mozilla 1.7.2 under Linux.  Since it seems to work for others, I am inclined to leave it.
