Æthelbert assigns Augustine and his 40 [[monk]]s a residence at [[Canterbury]] ([[Kingdom of Kent|Kent]]), where they found a [[Order of Saint Benedict|Benedictine]] monastery that will make the town a centre of [[Christianity]] (or [[597]]).
