===2022–present: Second film and revival===
Over a decade after the last iteration of the series, the series was again revived, this time in the [[Streaming television|streaming era]] for [[Paramount+]]. The concept of relaunching the show a second time came from Judge, who created a concert intro for the band [[Portugal. The Man]] using the characters. He had not intended to return to the characters again, but found performing the voices fun. He entered discussions with [[Paramount Global]], which was met with more "enthusiasm" than its previous MTV incarnation.<ref name="Greene 2022 m641"/> The show was originally set to debut on [[Comedy Central]],<ref name="secondrevival" /> but was moved to help launch Paramount+. To promote the revival, Paramount+ attempted to break the world record for the largest serving of [[nachos]] at S.
