==Retirement== By March 1989, Sutter was dealing with a severely torn [[rotator cuff]] and he admitted that he would be unlikely to return to baseball. "There's probably a 99.9 percent chance I won't be able to pitch again," he said.<ref name=Hopes/> General Manager [[Bobby Cox]] said that "Bruce is not going to retire. We're not going to release him.
