In 1934, the [[Crown Prince Frederik Range]] in [[Greenland]] was named after him when it was first mapped by [[Sir Martin Lindsay, 1st Baronet|Sir Martin Lindsay]] during the [[British Trans-Greenland Expedition]].<ref name="Roquette Gold medal">"French Honour For British Explorer", ''The Times'', 12 April 1935.</ref>
