=== 2005β2008 === The second-generation of the IS was introduced at the [[Geneva Motor Show#2005|Geneva Motor Show]] in March 2005 as a pre-production model, with the production version debuting at the [[New York International Auto Show#2005|2005 New York International Auto Show]] that April. The sedan's exterior design featured sleeker, [[coupΓ©]]-like contours, a [[fastback]] profile, and a repeated arrowhead motif in the front fascia and side windows.<ref>Morrison, Mac.
