The park is home to many species including the [[Magazine Mountain middle-toothed snail|shagreen snail]], [[American black bear|black bear]], [[white-tailed deer]], [[rufous-crowned sparrow]]s (rare), and 94 of the 134 butterfly species of Arkansas.
