===Consonants===
* {{IPAc-en|t}} in almost all regions of Pakistan is realised as {{IPAblink|ʈ}} and {{IPAc-en|d}} is realised as {{IPAblink|ɖ}}.
* Most PE speakers can not distinguish well between {{IPAc-en|v}} and {{IPAc-en|w}}, pronouncing them both as {{IPAblink|ʋ}}. 
* The quality of {{IPAslink|ɹ}} sound in PE is usually {{IPAblink|r}}.
* Most, if not all, PE speakers do not aspirate their voiceless plosives {{IPA|/p t k/}}.
* PE does not have {{IPAblink|ɫ}} ([[velarization|velarised]] L)
* PE speakers use {{IPA|[}}{{IPA link|ŋ}}{{IPA link|ɡ}}{{IPA|]}} before vowels in some words where standard Englishes (GenAmE and SSBE) would use {{IPAblink|ŋ}}, for example, ''"singer"'' is pronounced {{IPA|[ˈsiŋɡər]}} 
* PE speakers use {{IPAblink|ŋ}} after consonants in words where standard Englishes would use {{IPA|[}}{{IPA link|ŋ}}{{IPA link|ɡ}}{{IPA|]}}, so ''"English"'' is pronounced {{IPA|[ˈiŋliʃ]}} rather than {{IPA|[ˈɪŋɡlɪʃ]}}.
* The dental fricatives {{IPAc-en|θ}} and {{IPAc-en|ð}} are realised as dental stops i.e. {{IPAblink|t̪ʰ}} and {{IPAblink|d̪}} respectively.
