==Illness and death== In January 2011, Cellucci announced he had been diagnosed with [[amyotrophic lateral sclerosis]] (ALS), also known as [[Lou Gehrig]]'s disease, and that it was progressing relatively slowly.<ref>{{cite news|url=https://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2011/01/06/AR2011010604231.html|title=Former Mass. Brown Jr., who was leading Cellucci's treatment, before a Boston Red Sox game on May 19, 2011 at Fenway Park to announce the fundraising campaign.
