==Education== {{See also|List of schools in Torfaen}} The town is home to four [[comprehensive school]]s: [[Abersychan School]]; [[West Monmouth School]] (formerly Jones' West Monmouth [[Grammar School]] for Boys); [[St. Alban's R.C. High School]]; and [[Ysgol Gyfun Gwynllyw|Ysgol Gymraeg Gwynllyw]], a Welsh Medium education school teaching students between 3 and 19 years old. [[Trevethin Community School]] was closed at the end of the 2007 academic year.
