==Design methods== Several methods exist to aid the design of real-time systems, an example of which is [[Modular Approach to Software Construction Operation and Test|MASCOT]], an old but very successful method that represents the [[Concurrency (computer science)|concurrent]] structure of the system. Other examples are [[HOOD method|HOOD]], Real-Time UML, [[Architecture Analysis & Design Language|AADL]], the [[Ravenscar profile]], and [[Real time Java|Real-Time Java]].
