His first wife was model Peggy Williams (1951–1954). They divorced after allegations of [[domestic violence]]. His second marriage, to model Mary Hilem, lasted from 1963 until they divorced in 1969. The couple had one daughter, former [[CNN]] financial reporter [[Felicia Taylor]] (1964-2023). He married his third wife, Carol Kikumura, in 1980.
