=== 2019–present: SDUC === The Secure Digital Ultra Capacity (SDUC) format supports cards up to 128 TB{{efn|name="here, 1 TB = 1024"}} and offers speeds up to 985 MB/s. In April 2024, [[Western Digital]] (SanDisk) revealed the world's first 4 TB SD card at [[NAB Show|NAB 2024]], which will make use of the SDUC format.
