Most of [[Carnatic Music]] is in [[Telugu language|Telugu]].

Many Hindu epics were also composed in Telugu. Some examples are the Amukthamalayada, Basava Purana, Andhra Mahabharatam, and the Ranganatha Ramayanamu.
